Hi, my name is Shauntilly, I'm 47. I have struggled my entire life with religion. I wasn't raised in a religious family, I was told we were Christians but we didn't go to church, or love unconditionally, or give to others. There wasn't a bible in our house, we didn't have internet, and the only religion on TV were evangelists. I grew up thinking you were average like us or an uptight, religious freak who would give all their money to a person on TV, or knock on doors that no one would answer, or they were in a cult that did bad things. All three scenarios scared me and confused me. My blog discuses my journey of finding religion late in life and the very hard task of rewiring myself to change four decades of incorrect programming.
